Over the past 25 years GSB Prospection has built up a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of Archaeological Geophysics. Formed in 1986, GSB was the first geophysical group to specialise solely in Archaeology and has undertaken thousands of surveys across the British Isles, Europe, and as far as Africa, the Caribbean and America.
This unrivalled library of knowledge along with the company’s policy of only using fully qualified and experienced staff ensures a high quality survey with a detailed and precise report. GSB is used throughout the Heritage Industry from small research groups and volunteer digs to National Agencies, by many County Councils, National and Multi-National Corporations.
In 2012 a new and exiting chapter in the on-going life of GSB was begun when we became part of the SUMO group. This brings a wealth of new opportunities and expertise to the fore and will ensure that GSB can undertake even the largest of surveys with the same unrivalled levels of competence and expertise.
